Location Details: Pune, India

This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Our mission is to enable small businesses to build a website in minutes while on the go. We're looking for a strongly driven software engineer who loves web technologies like Javascript, React, Java, Go. You will be building out GoDaddy's next generation Online Appointments, demonstrating horizontal scaling solutions such as MySQL, NodeJS, DynamoDB, and the latest browser frameworks like React.

This product is one of the key strategic pillars of GoDaddy, with an important contribution to the customer growth, satisfaction, and innovation. The right individual will be determined, positive, and able to amplify the talents of others.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Care Transformation team. You will play a crucial role in building our next-generation messaging platform and work with critical pieces of infrastructure driving data platform insights for the care platform.

What you'll get to do...

• Develop efficient, maintainable code that adheres to best practices, ensuring high code quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing
• Thoroughly understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, accounting for all edge cases
• Investigate and resolve production issues promptly and optimally
• Contribute to technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and mentor fellow engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on integrations
• Stay current with the latest technological advancements and provide mentorship to other developers

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role, building large-scale applications or solutions using one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Solid foundation in data structures, experience in object-oriented programming, proven design principles, design patterns, and crafting framework designs
• Experience in writing unit test classes with mocking frameworks
• Strong understanding of database design and creating data models
• Experience in asynchronous programming, integration with external systems
• Experience working in agile teams and deploying code using Git-based workflows and CI/CD technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

You might also have...

• Experience in integrating AWS and Salesforce
• Understanding of git-based action workflows
• Certification in Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
