Senior Endpoint Security Engineer

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.​

We are the information security department, responsible for running our security software. As a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementation and operation technologies central to GoDaddy’s Security Operations. You should have a strong security and technical background. This role will also have visibility across the company, from C-level and Program Managers to various operational teams!

What you’ll get to do...

Deploy Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) technology across GoDaddy’s diverse environment, including on-premise, public cloud, and led workstations. We are also responsible to deploy and handle agent- and network-based vulnerability scanners in support of GoDaddy’s Vulnerability Management program. We design and implement support processes that minimize disruption and ensure a positive end-user experience for system owners and other internal collaborators.

Your experience should include...

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering or security operations in a large-scale environment
• Hands-on experience with modern endpoint protection technologies – like EDR
• Experience partnering with various collaborators to deliver shared outcomes, with Linux and scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• A good understanding of how computer networking operates in a large service provider environment
• Familiarity with agile development practices

You may also have...

• A Certification in CISSP or CCNA
