Software Quality Engineer

About the Role:

• Work with a team of Quality Engineers to ensure the highest quality product delivery
• Evaluate product functionality and create test cases to assess product quality
• Work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation
• Work with groups such as Product Management, User Experience Design, and Customer Success to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and test suites that approximate real-world environments
• Perform initial analysis for the defects and work closely with other engineers to reproduce and solve problems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
• Experienced in interacting and coordinating test activities amongst multiple teams

About You:

• 3+ years of software SQE/SDET building test automation
• Knowledge of test methodology and industry-standard testing, Automation, and bug-tracking tools
• Experienced in web, mobile manual testing, and automation with tools like Appium and WebDriver.
• Experience with RDBMS, being able to read and write SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with one programming or scripting language e.g., Java
• Experience testing API or web services programmatically
• Experience troubleshooting and problem-solving skills using programmatic solutions
• Ability to understand technical requirements and analyze logs
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers, operations, and release management
