Innovation & Decision Making

• Strong application process flow and problem solving techniques

• Knowledge of common tools used by the engineering group: version control, change management, automated builds, continuous integration, etc.

• Outstanding analytical skills, self-motivated, high performing and goal oriented

• Ability to innovate by challenging the status quo and come up with imaginative ways of doing things more effectively 

Communication skills

• Software engineering literacy and communication skills

• Strong customer focus and ability to think about the impact of actions on the customer 

Technical Expertise

• Strong Linux experience (RHEL/CentOS or Ubuntu)

• Strong understanding of automation  (Ansible / Terraform)

• Experience with one or more programming languages or scripting languages (Python / Groovy / Bash)

• Have a good grasp of networking fundamentals

• Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code SDLC

• Experience with delivery tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins)

• Logging and monitoring solutions (ELK, Logicmonitor)

• Cloud technologies exposure (Azure, GCP, Openstack, AWS)
