This role will join a team focusing on creating a more personalized experience. This individual will be a key member of the technical team working closely with Product & Design to deliver user value at high quality. The team is composed of very skilled and friendly engineers, ready to help and support you in the way you need. 

To support these world-changing initiatives, we are looking to hire a talented Staff Engineer who thrives in a team setting. With a squad of multiple domains, you will be responsible for architecting, writing technical specifications, and implementing your ideas to ship these products to our members. You will also be a part of a growing iOS chapter striving to be an industry standard.

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace Health:

• Design and build features for the Headspace iOS application
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to produce technical specifications and determine operational feasibility of products
• Write and maintain well designed, testable, performant, and efficient code
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency

What you’ve accomplished:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related experience
• 6+ years of experience Proven working experience in software development 
• A deep familiarity with  Swift/XCode
• Track record of architecting and writing technical specifications for medium to large sized projects
• Excellent communication skills and a good team player with a solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Experience working with or knowledgeable of MVVM architecture, RxSwift, SwiftUI, Combine is strongly preferred
• Have published one or more iOS applications to the App Store and CD/CI experience (nice to have)
