Director, Engineering

Job Duties: Responsible for building and managing data pipelines, ingesting raw data, and curating large datasets for consumption; Responsible for the oversight of 15 to 30 software engineers; Manage highly reliable, scalable, and cost-effective product and security telemetry infrastructure in both AWS and Azure; Act as technical advisor to leadership for product roadmaps, acquisition target analysis, acquisition due diligence and drive mergers; Establish Data Governance for product and engineering teams focusing on architecture, catalog, quality, security, and insights; Institute a self-serve analytics process, train, and empower engineers to adopt Data first culture in Product Development; Responsible for directing the overall Data Engineering program in support of the mission and vision of the CDO; Managing the teams responsible for building data pipelines and performing the necessary ETL processes to deliver consumable data sets to the data consumption team; Own AntiVirus, AutoProtect, Intrusion Prevention, Firewall features for Norton Security products and ensured customer security by submitting, visualizing, and monitoring; Design and implement automated product patching and monitoring; Spearhead Innovation charter for software engineers. Domestic travel required. May telecommute.

Job Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or related field and 7 (seven) years of experience in the job offered or in a Computer-related occupation.
