As a Software Engineer, You’ll work closely with architects and technical product managers to translate overall system architecture and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software components. You’ll take ownership of the implementation of individual software components, with high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices - using software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all the team deliverables.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with architects and technical product managers to translate overall system architecture and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software component

• Take ownership of the implementation of individual software components, with high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices

• Develop, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security

• Ability to write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

• Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse

• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance

• Work closely with your peers and agile team in a fast paced delivery mode and focus on delivering tasks to meet the product release goal

• Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables

• Identify the scope of the work and provide estimates with good accuracy

• Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering.

• Experience building scalable, distributed systems using modern frameworks such as AWS.

Essentials Skills

• Specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning

• Demonstrated work experience with at least one set of AI tools

• Demonstrated work experience with Python

• Demonstrated work experience with AI/ML project

• Demonstrated expertise in modelling, and in the development and application of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics

• Demonstrated AWS experience, certification is a plus

• Nice to have knowledge of Microservices design and development, and deployment in Kubernetes

• NoSQL Database Design (preferably MongoDB)

• Good knowledge in unit testing using JUnit and mock frameworks.

• Experience in Agile development practices: Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

• Knowledge of React , Vue.JS ,REST API

• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience with Jenkins, GIT, Artifactory, Sonar, Code review tools
