About this role:

This role will help lead HR Technology’s newly created organization focused on operational excellence. As a trusted technology partner, you will help us propel Gartner’s success through innovation, operational excellence, and exceptional user experiences, while preserving the company's reputation.

The Senior Manager of Operational Excellence will own Tier2 & Tier3 technical support for Workday and other HR applications. This role will help us identify & streamline operational processes and automate manual support activities. This role will help ensure our HR products & platforms are always available, always functioning as designed and that Gartner’s HR team receives exceptional IT support.

What you will do:

  • Lead a team across geographies that provides IT production support for Workday and other applications.
  • Ensure our products, platforms, integrations, and other components are cataloged to drive and measured KPI’s that improve technical maturity.
  • Establish 24x7 support coverage model and standard SLA’s with our HR team
  • Build runbooks for product outages and own Disaster Recovery plans.
  • Use automation tools to simplify manual support tasks.
  • Deploy monitoring across our technology ecosystems for both applications and integrations.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoff and consistent documentation.
  • Contribute to effective Workday design & delivery that can reduce total cost of ownership.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise IT environment.
  • 2+ years working in production support organization.
  • Workday experience is required.
  • Strong technical acumen, experience with IT integration standards.
  • Experience with IT support best practices, ITSM standards

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 105,600 USD - 144,900 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
