What we’re looking for: 

We’re looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with a background in developing interactive and customer-facing software. The ideal candidate has a passion for coding, bringing new software to market, and keeping up with the latest in software development and technology. You must be excited to find creative solutions to interesting coding challenges.

Why you’ll want to come to work:

• Advocate on behalf of the customer when assessing product quality and code quality.

• Drive collaborative discussions to promote understanding of product quality.

• Actively participate in all scrum rituals; stand ups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospective

• Play an active role in the refinement and estimation of features and user stories ensuring acceptance criteria is well defined and QA effort is accurately estimated.

• Work with product and development teams to design and implement test strategies to deliver high quality consumer software products.

• Develop and execute tests, analyze results, and communicate findings.

• Develop modular and robust automated test scripts to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and scalable.

• Develop and build postman scripts to test APIs.

• Develop SQL queries to test data correctness.

• Develop and build the test infrastructure with the DevOps team.

• Coach and develop talent across the team, creating a collaborative environment.

• Document the processes and best practices.

• Actively research new tools/methods that could prove beneficial in the implementation of Automated Tests.

What you’ll bring to the team:

Must have:

• Familiarity with Project Management and Test Management tools such as JIRA and AIO.

• Experience with writing automation tests using one of the following: WebDriverIO, Cypress (preferred), Playwright, Selenium.

• Hands-on experience in Jenkins OR any CI/CD. (Github Action is a plus).Experience in running tests on cross browser platforms like browserstack or saucelabs.

• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required

• Verbal English skills (we work in English!)

Nice to have/opportunity to learn (depending on the team):

• Familiarity with AWS services.

• Experience in shell commands and logging tools like Splunk or scalyr.
