About the Role:

As a Project Specialist and a member of our production management team, you will work with Gartner’s Research Business Operations team and will be responsible for active involvement, and/or provide project management support to multiple processes and projects for the RBO team as well as partners with R&A teams and others. We are looking for a self-driven, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused individual who can manage and lead the end-to-end creation and optimization of multiple processes, projects and reports at a time, has excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, has lateral problem-solving skills, has the ability to understand complex environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare and maintain process guideline documentation of projects.
  • Collaborate/Coordinate with internal teams/stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Contribute to and evolve processes and tools to effectively and efficiently serve internal stakeholders to meet their product requirements at agreed-to service levels.
  • Apply and follow process and project management methodology and best practices for all projects, underpinned by fact-based data and supporting change management initiatives. 
  • Deliver input for regular project reporting (monthly/quarterly) to communicate progress.
  • Meet or exceed delivery deadlines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while weighing the importance of specific jobs and prioritizing accordingly, maintaining high levels of personal productivity and keeping team and internal stakeholders aware of changes and concerns.
  • Communicate professionally (written and verbal) during stressful situations, resolving problems accurately, effectively, and positively.
  • Use strong problem-solving skills to assist in data capture and entry. Resolve complex project issues with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
  • Facilitate communication globally with the RBO team, and production management peers to meet daily deliverables, always with a sense of urgency and across appropriate platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet stakeholder needs and business objectives.
  • Provide floating support for teammates on various projects as needed.
  • Remain agile to evolving processes by attending training, using self-serve resources, and adapting your approach accordingly.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required/ MBA (Master of Business Administration) would be an added advantage
  • 3 - 5 years of project management or coordination experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and team oriented
  • Excellent collaboration, verbal communication, and writing skills
  • Great Attention to detail and ability to keep tasks structured and organized
  • Strong time management, planning, and organization skills
  • Ability to recognize and troubleshoot errors
  • Ability to provide input to ensure administrative processes and standards are consistent and effective
  • Extremely detail oriented, accurate, and self-disciplined
  • Proven track record independently managing multiple priority projects and meeting tight deadlines with often-changing requirements
  • Expertise in working on Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive) and MS Suite (Outlook, Teams). Experience in project management tools (e.g. Power BI) is strongly preferred
  • Desire to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes
