The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst/scientist who shares our passion for data-driven innovation in games and entertainment to join our team. You will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of developing business and product metrics, tracking and providing insights that will fuel the growth of games and entertainment in the new era of web3. We have access to rich data sources (user-generated data being at the forefront) to drive the creation of insights and prescriptive models that may shape the gaming industry.
You will be part of a company of super-achievers who work together to evolve entertainment. The ideal candidate has prior blockchain experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for Web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. We would love someone with a deep passion for games, strong product management skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, creative-minded environment.
Responsibilities
- Helping the team understand behavioral patterns in our product(s) usage
- Working closely with the product team in identifying and integrating new sources of data
- Defining logic to detect anomalies and patterns in large volumes of data
- Working closely with the engineering team in building algorithms/models and systems that can unify structured and unstructured data sources
- Building predictive models and estimations with ML
- Co-creating industry-defining mathematical solutions to practical problems
- Work closely with the team, mentoring and coaching where feasible
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors in circuit engineering - computer science/IT/telecom/electronics
- 6+ years of experience
- Superhero strength in math and problem-solving
- Fluent in computer programming with good experience in data structures and algorithms, SQL and NoSQL Databases
- Proficient in at least 1 analytics-related language (R, python, etc.)
- Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator
- Excited by problem-solving
- Fearless
