Fungible is hiring a Software Engineer, Backend for their team in Reston, Virginia. As a member of the software team, you will be responsible for end to end development of key backend services. You will have the opportunity to make an impact across a wide variety of topics including authentication, authorization, datastore design, distributed system design, and user experience. Your software will power the GPU Connect and Fungible Datacenter product lines.
You Bring:
- B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
- 10+ years of experience
- Ability to quickly write efficient and correct code (especially Python, Golang)High comfort level with common datastores (SQL, NoSQL) and brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Self-motivated, independent, proactive
- Experience with distributed microservices-based architectures
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
Additional Success Factors:
- Start-up experience
- Kubernetes experience
- Frontend/Full stack expertise
