Description

Fungible is defining data-centric computing, both in terms of software and in terms of hardware (with its DPU). Software for creating reliable, high-performance storage infrastructure in a large-scale data center environment is central to our mission

Your role will be to :

Develop new features and maintain existing features in the FSC Cinder driver

Participate in OpenStack community certification of the Cinder driver

Contribute to enhancements in Cinder related to FSC and NVMe/TCP in general

Work with the QA team in maintaining the OpenStack Cinder CI/CD environment

Work with the OpenStack community for the ongoing maintenance of the FSC Cinder driver

Help in solving issues arising at the customer site related to the usage of the driver

Education,Skill and Requirements:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
5+ years of experience in software infrastructure
Proficient in Python programming language
In-depth technical knowledge of the Cloud industry, private and public cloud environments, virtualization, and cloud management.
Experience in OpenStack Cinder
Experience in debugging issues in the Nova & Neutron components in OpenStack
Self-motivated, independent, and proactive

Additional Success Factors

Experience in working with the OpenStack community
Experience in Storage/Networking products and/or applications
Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate and stay in sync with other team members
