We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join our talented team. As a Senior Mobile Developer , you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction and architecture of our e-commerce mobile application. You will work closely with the Technical Lead and other technical leaders, as well as collaborate with the product team to address the challenges of a rapidly growing platform with increasing demands.

This position can be based remotely in BC, AB, ON, or NS.

What you'll do

Collaborate with the Technical Lead and other team members to plan and architect mobile app projects, contributing to design discussions and decisions.
Implement and deliver high-quality mobile app features and enhancements using React Native, JavaScript, and React.
Work as part of a "pod," a small team of front-end and back-end engineers, to ensure effective and efficient development processes.
Contribute to the technical health of the mobile application by adhering to engineering best practices and participating in code reviews.
Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile app development trends and technologies, incorporating them into the project when appropriate.
Assist in mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and high psychological safety within the team.

What you bring to the table

5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on mobile applications
Strong expertise in mobile app development, including proficiency in building cross-platform applications.
Proven experience in delivering high-scale mobile applications, ideally in an e-commerce or high-demand environment.
In-depth knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices, performance optimization, and mobile-specific security considerations.
Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
Passion for staying updated with the latest mobile app development trends and a drive to continuously improve engineering practices.
