Senior Frontend Software Engineer - Core Apps

Core Apps team is in charge of web applications and micro services for the main applications at Five9. Our 3 teams are located in US, Australia and Portugal. We are looking to significantly expand Portugal team.
Our 3 main application Agent Desktop Plus, Supervisor Plus and Admin Console represent a significant part of Five9 customer base and often are the largest enterprise customers with high demands for reliability and number of concurrent agents. Come to our team to expand and update these applications and help Five9 conquer the enterprise contact center market.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an agile team to develop a scalable, highly available application platform.
• Participate and contribute to requirements analysis and grooming.
• Understand performance and scalability principles and apply when developing software.
• Web App development in modern Frontend stack.
• Document and communicate clearly architecture and implementation solutions.
• Work closely with product managers, testers and application architects.
• Troubleshoot and support current platform in production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years software development experience.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis.
• High proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with client-side JavaScript Toolkits or frameworks such as React/Redux.
• Experience with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM) and web standards (HTML5).
• Experience designing scalable systems.
• Experience working with REST/GraphQL interfaces.
• Must have experience working within an Agile/Scrum team.
• Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
