Job Title

What does a successful Software Test Engineer do at Fiserv?  

As a successful Software Test Engineer, you will perform functional testing activities to include engaging in design sessions, creating test deliverables, performing test execution and logging defects. 

What you will do:
You will be responsible for reporting testing status and escalating issues to test management.  You will lead, develop, monitor, and execute test activities for medium to large sized projects. 

• Develop clear and concise test scripts based on requirements
• Develop clear and concise test scripts for regression test needs
• Define and obtain test data in support of test scripts
• Create Test Plan artifacts outlining overall test strategy for a project(s)

What you will need to have: 

• US citizenship capable of obtaining security clearance with the Federal Government.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing.

     
What would be great to have: 

• Experience working with qTest and Jira.
• Experience working with projects requiring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies.
• Experience in the Student Loan Industry.
