What does a great Mobile App Implementation Specialist do?
The Implementation Specialist – II is an intermediate level position on Fiserv’s Mobiliti Implementations team. As part of the Mobile ASP Implementations team, you will be part of a highly energetic team that is responsible for producing specific Mobile Banking product lines.
As The Mobile App Specialist, you will build, test, deploy and maintain phone and tablet apps across the various app stores. Due to the pace of mobile technology and the volume of apps that are being maintained, it is important that you can work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining high quality standards.
What you will do
Assist with configuration and branding of mobile applications.
Set-up and configure mobile environments for mobile app deployment verification and live mobile app deployments.
Perform weekly after-hours Mobile App deployments.
Identify and execute manual tests for the mobile applications on specific mobile devices.
Validate content, data input and user experience on mobile devices.
Support basic testing and troubleshooting of rich internet clients ported onto multi-device platforms for smart phones.
Work with QA, BSAs and Dev on mobile application root cause analysis, research and debugging.
Install and run SDK’s (Software Development Kits) for iPhone and Android.
Complete production cases for new mobile app client requests
What you will need to have -
Education
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Graphic Design, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10+ years of experience in software development/quality assurance, implementations, and/or graphic design.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge or course work on designing mobile applications for smart phones.
Knowledge of app store submission processes (App Store Connect and/or Google Play)
Implementation and testing on variety of mobile devices, different OS versions, and device sizes.
Critical, observational, quantitative and analytical thinking required for mobile design layouts and rendering images.
Knowledge and/or working use of SDK Emulators for both iOS and Android.
Comfortable working with tools that leverage the command line interface and do not have an alternative user interface.
What would be great to have
Basic understanding and knowledge of protocols, database file structures, relational databases, web services, XML files for data source and storage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
