About the role:

• Develop and support our Risk Solution product which is built in C++ and C#.
• Design and develop integrations with other FIS products to provide a comprehensive solution for financial institutions.
• Design technical and functional solutions along with effective implementation, maintenance, and client focus.

About the Team

In today's financial markets, trade-processing lifecycles undergo constant change.

From pre-trade analysis to post-trade risk management, settlement, and regulatory compliance, it has never been more important to be in control. Our product provides Front, middle and back and office functions with major focus on risk exposure analysis and management for large financial institutions such as tier 1 banks

What will you be doing

• Designing and developing high-performance solutions in c++ and C# .Net and Python
• Implement technical and functional solutions as per client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and business analysts to define cross product integration/migration strategies.
• Establish and enforce Development best practices, standards, and procedures throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of Development processes and tools to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Development technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Development-related matters, providing guidance and support to stakeholders as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and discussions with stake holders to provide input and insights on development-related matters.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Business analysts to understand client usage and client business scenarios, thereby ensuring delivery of high-quality software solution.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Proven 9 to 14 years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in the capacity of solution/team lead role
• Hands-on experience with programing languages such as C++, C#.  
• Hands-on experience in Python is a definite plus.
• Expertise on DB side programming.
• Understanding of CI concepts and tools.
• Effective communication to engage with cross functional team, product owners and other stake holders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
• Highly professional with a focus and passion for learning new developments in technology as well as domain.

Added bonus if you have:

• Exposure to Capital Markets or Investment banking domain.
• Experience of Agile Scrum will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.

• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
