About the team

The IQ team is part of Merchant Solutions-Worldpay which services the merchants post their onboarding journey. IQ provides a window into business operations so merchants can make decisions based on data and not guesswork. IQ is a robust, easy-to-use reporting tool to access payment processing data and is a comprehensive solution to give actionable insights into running businesses more efficiently. IQ is an innovative business portal providing our customers with single-point online access to their processing information and can be used to access transaction detail, reconciliation data, daily/weekly/monthly statements, along with responding to disputes.

What you will be doing

Manage infrastructure design & delivery across all Worldpay including cloud and on-premises, ensuring timely delivery of high quality artefacts, high level architecture (Solution Approaches), infrastructure solutions, and designs, detailed specifications and engineering builds that meet the requirements of each project.

Agree scope and requirements for each project and produce resource and hardware estimates for business case sign off.

Plan and prioritize the delivery of infrastructure according to project priorities – agreeing key milestones and managing day to day delivery, escalations and challenges to ensure key dates are met.

What you bring:

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Extensive Devops and AWS build experience with VPC (Virtual Private Cloud).
• Experience with Infrastructure as code, with terraform, Ansible & cloud formation.
• Very good experience with Jenkins, Dockers, Kubernetes
• Good understanding of DevOps concepts of Continuous Integration/  Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and concepts.
• Familiar with middleware products including but not limited to web logic, tomcat, MQ.
• Extensive scripting knowledge, python, bash, ansible.
• Ability to take complex, multi-faceted ideas, objectives, or problems and work with them through to simple solutions recognizing synergies and options.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a variety of influencing styles to enable effective completion of tasks both individually and within groups.  Builds sustainable relationships with colleagues and key individuals in the business and IT team from executive management through to technical levels.
• Shows a desire to take the initiative, moving issues forward with clarity.  Demonstrates an ability to think ‘outside the box’ while defining solutions in a workable form.
• Ability to drive transformation for cost and service benefits.
• Ability to work within an agile environment.

Educational Qualification: …

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
