We’re seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our central marketing team, focused on building out the platforms and systems needed to serve both our internal teams and our clients that range from small to enterprise-sized businesses around the world.  

 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating scalable, maintainable web applications from the ground up within a complex ecosystem. You’ll utilize modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Gatsby and Astro with our new Contentful-based headless CMS and work closely with both internal and external teams to develop front-to-back-end solutions.

The central Worldpay marketing team is a newly formed dynamic and results-oriented group that is focused on driving success, growth, and a first-class user experience. Clients vary across many industries and sectors, as well as size and geography. 

  

What you will be doing: 
 
Worldpay is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer to be a key leader in the development of our web platforms managed by our central marketing group. 

·       You will work closely with internal and external teams within an agile framework and help champion the creation of company-wide frameworks as we bring in a variety of web properties. 

·       Your approach should be consultative in nature and show an ability to creatively translate requirements into efficient solutions that maintain our platform’s integrity. 

 

You will: 

·       Develop and maintain web applications on our Contentful headless CMS platform using a React-friendly frameworks such as Next.js, Gatsby or Astro, for dynamic content management. 

·       Architect and implement API-driven solutions across multiple web properties, utilizing both GraphQL and RESTful services, to enhance application performance and user experience. 

·       Collaborate with internal and external UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA engineers to define and implement innovative features. 

·       Participate in a consultative process to help ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into high-quality code. 

·       Own and contribute to the back-end development, particularly with Node.js, and ensure seamless integration with front-end components. 

·       Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO. 

·       Maintain and improve website architecture as we expand our solutions to multiple web properties. 

·       Implement security and data protection measures. 

·       Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in headless CMS, API development, and front-end frameworks. 
 
 

What you bring: 

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

·       7+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a strong emphasis on React, Contentful, Next.JS or similar headless CMS platforms. 

·       Proven expertise in API development, including REST and GraphQL. 

·       Solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, particularly Next.js, Astro or Gatsby. 

·       Proficiency in server-side programming languages, especially Node.js. 

·       Familiarity with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL, and understanding of data structure principles. 

·       Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). 

·       Experience with version control tools like Git. 

·       Experience with agile and/or DevOps processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) 

·       Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and teamwork skills. 

·       Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

 

Added bonus if you have: 

·       Agency side experience working with medium to large clients 

·       Financial services experience 

·       Team management experience

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $75,590.00 - $123,220.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
