Being part of the 200 strong Infrastructure Services organization, you’ll help to engineer and deliver the core infrastructure services that power our payments platform. We’re responsible for running some very critical systems, maintaining 20,000 servers via an automation platform, thousands of databases and petabytes of storage hosted from our data centres and public cloud.

We are looking for talented individuals to join the Infrastructure Services organisation; you’ll be a self-starter, possess an analytical mindset and be a change agent. 

What you will be doing:

  • Performs work as a project team member for technical or operational projects.
  • Ability to react quickly and appropriately to operational exceptions such as needed reports
  • Performs troubleshooting, diagnoses and repair of report job issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
  • Meets commitments and provides excellent customer service at all times with internal and external clients. Provides detailed status reports (written and/or verbal) of tasks and difficulties encountered enabling managers to initiate escalation if necessary and assess areas where changes or additional support may be warranted.
  • Ensures issues including large tuning opportunities and capital needs for capacity increases are escalated appropriately to TSG management. Provides daily support for data collection process. 24x7 on-call support of data collection process

What you bring:

  • 9 to 12 years of Experience in Mainframe Capacity Planner,
  • Good experience in ZOS Performance
  • Strong technical knowledge in ,SAS,WPS,MXG,Windows - MS Office
  • Good Experience in TSO,OS,SMF,RMF and CMF
  • Willing to work in daily support for data collection process and 24x7 on-call support of data collection process
  • Willing to work in US day shifts

Added bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
  • Knowledge of Worldpay’ products and services
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate Worldpay organization

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $103,010.00 - $173,060.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
