Job Title – Principal - Systems Engineering - Batch Engineering

The Purpose of This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the Workload Orchestration Product roadmap that will assist our Business Partners in their Cloud Adoption and Digital transformation journey. You will work closely with the Product Owner and collaborate with the Application and Data Architects to understand the Workload Orchestration requirements and assist in formulating a Core and Common solution that will fulfil the growing needs for our business partners. You will work closely with the BU application teams to influence the broader strategic decisions and roadmaps and assist them in adopting the Enterprise recommended solutions to create enhanced Visibility and Operability. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical / Behavioral

• Hands on experience in Workload Orchestration Tools like Control-M/Autosys.

• Experience in Open-Source Orchestration Tools like Airflow or Prefect

• Hands on experience in managing the Workload Orchestration Tool Infrastructure

• Hands on experience in Shell scripting SQL, Perl, Python

• Good Understanding of the Linux administration

• Good understanding of the Oracle and Postgres Databases

• Experience in maintaining/migrating Control-M/Autosys in cloud.

• Understanding of DR, High availability, and its setup

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role.

• Experience on AWS environment (Lambda, EC2, Step function, AWS Batch, Cloud formation, S3 etc.)

• Experience on Azure environment.

• Experience on Containerization using Docker.

• Experience in Release and Change Management process.

• Good Understanding of Rest API, Automation API

• Experience in Batch Scheduling Product Conversion

• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Good knowledge of Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS etc.)

• Experience in building/maintaining Automation pipelines.

• Good knowledge of AI/ML; added advantage.

• Good Understanding of Observability and SRE practices

• Good Understanding of Stress, Chaos and FMEA testing

How Your Work Impacts the Organization

You will be part of the Batch Engineering team within the Strategic Programs and Batch Services organization. The team is in both US and India. You will be collaborating with the Engineers across shores in driving the Workload Automation Strategy for the organization.

• Graduate

Shift timings: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm / 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
