Systems Engineer - NoSQL Database Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION::

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to manage NoSQL databases in Development, Staging, and Production environments that are utilized by FactSet. 

You will collaborate closely with the Linux Team to ensure the stability and optimal performance of the Linux-based infrastructure supporting these databases.

You will collaborate closely with different stakeholders to help on their use cases from NoSQL database engineering.

Knowledge of Cluster typology is essential for this position, as you will be expected to assist with Quarterly Patching and Maintenance tasks. 

Additionally, you will play a role in monitoring and participating in on-call duties. Automation will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, and you will utilize tools like Python and Ansible to streamline processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Looking for BE/B.Tech OR MCA Graduates.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Scripting, with a solid understanding of any NoSQL databases.
• Effective communication skills are crucial as you will collaborate with other administrators and end users.
• Being proactive and displaying excellent problem-solving skills are traits that we highly appreciate.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues involving hardware, operating systems, and applications is also necessary.
• possessing scripting/programming experience specifically in Python would be highly desirable for this role.
• Previous exposure to database technologies such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Kafka, Zookeeper, Memcached/Redis will be a significant advantage. 

HIGHLY DESIRED

• Proficiency in tools like Ansible, Terraform or other Infrastructure tools is also beneficial.
• Furthermore, having a technical understanding of cloud technologies like AWS or Azure is considered a plus.
