Job Description

• Ongoing maintenance and development of new functionality to existing PHP (Laravel / Livewire - TALL stack) web application
• Develop automation that enables self-service and executes at a global scale
• Development and testing of internal web and API services systems that enable rapid business, finance, and infrastructure insight across all of our
• services, following programming best practice with user-centric design thinking.
• Collaborate with operational, technical, and non-technical business teams globally
• Equate business challenges and requirements to technical deliveries.Agree timelines and execute at pace
• Troubleshoot technical issues to quickly isolate fault domain and determine root cause.Formulate solutions and/or workarounds across a wide
• range of environments
• You willchampion forward thinking by bringing a unique point of view while inspiring impeccable quality from others
• Generate documentation content and participate in cross-functional business and technical teams to strengthen and evangelize our services
• Suggest, design, and implement improvements to currently deployed solutions
• Support global operations and business support/development teams to improve delivery through automation and innovation
• Take ownership by driving meaningful change and delivering results from passion and purpose

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years working as developer
• Software development background with a strong understanding of programming best practice and user-centric design
• Strong understanding of PHP 8.xx and MySQL
• Strong understanding of writing unit and integration tests
• Strong understanding of Python
• Strong understanding AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Strong understanding of source control workflows using git
• Good understanding of the TALL stack (Tailwind CSS, Alpine JS, Livewire and Laravel)
• Experience consuming APIs in PHP and Python
• Familiar with Vanilla JavaScript
• Familiar with Golang and bash shell scripting
• Working experience with Ansible, Terraform
• Familiar with Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, BitBucket and Confluence
• Enthusiasm to quickly learn new technology, concepts, and terminologies
• Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mindset
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills and a strong work ethic coupled with a curiosity for new trends
• and emerging technologies
• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, detail oriented, and can work collaboratively with others
• Innate ability to recognise and resolve potential service impacting issues
• Experience building Chat Bots would be a bonus
• Exposure working with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus and Grafana will be a plus
