We transform the project lifecycle for our customers, who include key community stakeholders in the utilities, transportation and government sectors.

Our Algorithms Team is a highly multidisciplinary group at the core of our data processing and detection capabilities, integrating physics, signal processing, computer vision classic machine learning algorithms, and AI models to meet our unique requirements.

Job description

As an Geo Data Scientist at Exodigo, you will develop advanced tools that will automate complex processes performed until today only by civil engineering experts. You will be at the forefront of creating algorithms that utilize machine learning and deep learning techniques to automate geospatial data processing and analysis. Collaborating closely with our company’s Mapping & Engineering experts, as well as with our Software team, you will integrate the tools you develop into the analysis pipeline, improving Exodigo’s ability to quickly deliver high quality products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and implement advanced geospatial algorithms using computational geometry and multi-source data fusion to improve our mapping pipeline.
• Explore AI architectures to process geospatial and extract insights from multiple sources like PDFs GeoJSON and CAD formats like DXF, IFC and others.
• Leverage GenAI technologies to generate textual CAD formats (e.g., DXF, IFC).
• Work closely with the maps analysis team to evaluate the algorithms performance. 

• B.Sc. in technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge in machine learning architectures and latest developments.
• Hands-On experience with machine learning frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including numpy, scipy, PyTorch, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in relevant field.
• Experience in Geo Information Systems (GIS).
• Experience working with BIM data and 3D modelling.
• Exposure to generative AI natural language processing (NLP) for text extraction.
• Experience in cloud environment development (AWS).
