Job Title: Electrical Engineering Intern

Reports to: Sr. Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:

Exo is taking medical imaging where you never thought it would go — everywhere. We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team and contribute to exciting projects that will shape the future of Ultrasound.

As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Exo, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on in various aspects of electrical engineering while working alongside experienced professionals in the field. The internship program is designed to provide you with valuable insights into real-world engineering practices, enhance your technical skills, and help you develop a deeper understanding of the industry.

Key Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Assist in design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements and propose innovative solutions.
  • Participate in prototyping and fabrication of electrical projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Document and communicate technical information effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in laboratory and testing environments.
  • Support ongoing projects by performing various tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelors (at least a Junior or Senior) or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering 
  • Strong academic background with coursework in Analog Circuit Design, Digital Circuit Design & Power Electronics
  • Familiarity with variety of communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.
  • Prior experience designing PCBs highly desired. 
  • Proficiency in using lab equipment like high speed Oscilloscopes, DC Power supplies, Signal Generators, etc

Expectation is to be in the office 5 days a week and be willing to work in a laboratory setting.
