Evident ID is hiring a Lead Software Engineer. We are looking for a person located in Poland with a strong preference for Krakow area.
Responsibilities
- Technical lead for a team developing SaaS software
- Design and implement highly scalable and flexible microservices
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, including progress tracking
- Collaborating with other team members, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and challenges that arise during the development process
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, tooling enhancements, and skill development within the team
- Identifying and mitigating technical risks that could impact project delivery or product quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in Scala programming language
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of best coding practices, testability of the code and applying them
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate, and guide team members towards common goals
- This includes skills in communication, decision-making, and delegation
- Technology agnostic mindset when solving problems
- Experience with developing cloud native applications
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines, and remain flexible in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
