Job Description

Job Title: O365 Engineer

Work Location : Bangalore / Chennai

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES:

Following ITIL methodology, and utilising the existing Eurofins Policies, the mission of the position ‘O365 SME’ is to:
• Microsoft O365 Operations and support.

ROLE & OBJECTIVES:
 

O365 Admin SME / L2 Roles and Responsibilities - Experience – 5+ years in O365 Operations.

• Ensuring the operational health of the O365 Suite Applications including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.
• Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.
• Develop future strategies for Office 365 products and services.
• Administer and support Office 365 and MS Exchange policies.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses.
• Update Ticket technical details, document new processes, create guidelines for new solutions, update infrastructure documentation.
• Provide technical user support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk and resolve system / application issues.
• Work with the Microsoft 365 cluster team to develop, manage and     implement the Microsoft 365 roadmap, leveraging new platform innovations as they are released.
• Assist with the migration of content from various sources (country office servers, google drive, drop box, personal computers, one drive, SharePoint etc.) to Microsoft 365 environment as designed.
• Demonstrable experience in successfully supporting Microsoft 365 products.
• Assist with training and adoption of new Microsoft 365 solutions and processes including delivery & creation of training plans, materials, and documentation.
• Administration, and maintenance of O365 services in operations, under Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related services.
• Resolve incidents, implement, and participate to problem resolutions.
• Analysing the technical needs of end-users and stakeholders while helping identify technical problems and propose solutions as a part of problem management process.
• Collaborate with teams to define and develop documented procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to implement service and system monitoring, alerting and reporting of the Messaging and Collaboration services.
• Basic AD and Azure AD knowledge.
