About this opportunity:

We are now looking for a Developer & Scrum Master in MTAS (Multimedia Telephony Application Server) and CSCF (Call Session Call Control) products, on a SIP based Application Server within IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), which can operate both on its native hardware, also in virtualized and cloud native environments. MTAS&CSCF organization is multi-national and geographically distributed (Sweden, India, and Hungary) and delivers MTAS and CSCF products to the biggest telecom operators all over the world.

Our teams are responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, highly reliable, and distributed systems in C++ and Java, which can operate on both native hardware and in virtualized and cloud environments. We are working in self-organizing, multi-functional teams, where each team member utilizes multiple skills, ranging from system and software architecture to design and system testing. MTAS organization is multi-national and geographically distributed (Hungary, Sweden, and India) and delivers the MTAS product to the biggest telecom operators all over the world. The main tools and technologies we are using: C++, Linux, TTCN3, Perl, Python, Jenkins, Jira, Git, and Java.

What you will do:

• Act as a Scrum Master: Facilitate agile practices, including scrum ceremonies, and ensure team collaboration and progress by removing impediments
• Work on a Large Code Base: Engage in development tasks involving complex systems with high throughput and concurrency, addressing aspects like memory management, threading, or custom protocols
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with teams across different sites to drive projects forward and ensure effective communication and integration
• Connect the Team with Site Activities: Involve the team in organizational initiatives and site activities to foster engagement and a sense of community
• Contribute to Sustainable Operations: Develop solutions that leverage cloud-first and AI-first models to enhance system efficiency and sustainability

The skills you bring:

• Extensive experience with C++  
• Experience with IMS/telco application platforms development (or even MTAS) in an advantage 
• Additionally: Telco charging system knowledge, online and offline charging and related 3GPP specifications
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes, familiarity with microservices
• Understanding of the Scrum framework and agile methodologies
• Leadership and facilitation skills (and interest)
