EquipmentShare is Hiring a Windows System Engineer Team Lead

EquipmentShare is searching for a Windows System Engineer Team Lead for our Columbia, MO office to support our team as it continues to grow.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage a team of Windows System Administrators focused on supporting manufacturing systems.
Plan and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based systems used in the manufacturing process.
Ensure the security of Windows systems and implement appropriate security measures.
Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they become problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems are integrated effectively.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to Windows systems, processes, and procedures.
Assist in the planning and implementation of system upgrades and migrations.
Monitor system backups and disaster recovery processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies related to Windows systems and manufacturing processes.
Manage team workload and assign tasks based on skills and availability.
Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the team.
Act as a technical escalation point for team members.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator.
2+ years of experience in a team leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, and Active Directory.
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Amazon Cloud
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
Knowledge of manufacturing systems, such as MES, SCADA, or ERP.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays, as needed.
Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, etc.
