At Entain Australia and New Zealand, as a Mobile Developer specialising in React Native, you will have the unique opportunity to develop leading solutions that are used by a large majority of our customers. Collaborate with a skilled team of developers dedicated to innovating and launching our brand's latest products and features.

As a 12-month Fixed-Term opportunity, this role offers a unique chance to contribute to our expansion in the Cross-platform native mobile apps sphere, utilizing React Native on a scale that is hard to find in smaller software.

We are undertaking a major Native rebuild piece of work, with an opportunity for the right candidate to support this space long-term.
 

Where and how you can work

Your day-to-day.  

• Creating responsive and adaptive solutions that render and perform well on all devices used to deliver our products.
• Implementing and maintaining efficient, scalable, and robust code to ensure the smooth operation of our React Native apps.
• Working within the React Native development team and alongside the Quality Assurance team to create and execute tests. plans for new and existing functionality.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing long-term fixes to bugs.
• Executing projects within timeframes and communicating well with all stakeholders.
• Absorbing changes in scope or design.

What you’ll bring 

• Demonstrated understanding of React Native development practices.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience writing unit and functional tests using Detox and/or Jest.
• Experience in optimising performance for iOS and Android platforms.
• Building and creating pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of the mobile industry and the ability to develop our products using the latest device capabilities and trends.
• Writing clear, concise, and well-documented code.
• Experience with VueJs or React.JS.
