The Director, Planning & Process role reports to the VP of Planning & Strategyand collaborates with Senior Leaders across business & technology to develop strategic visions, transformational roadmaps, leverage sound planning, blueprinting, forecasting and modeling methodologies to set actionable, and achieve long term strategic goals. 

Works to understand as-is processes, gap identification, design thinking, and other methods to drive process improvements and acceptance while addressing requirements for new or evolving capabilities.

What you will do:

  • In collaboration with Senior Leaders from business and COE’s to develop a strategy and execution plan to create a standardized end to end integrated planning process.
  • Lead analysis to develop a strategic technology roadmap to support all elements of that End-to-End process.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across portfolios, including quantifiable analysis around key organizational drivers.
  • Deliver forecast analytics that include budgets, capitalization, workforce requirements
  • Lead team of direct reports including reporting analyst & lean process engineers both onshore and offshore
  • Responsible for the achievement of process program/project goals, objectives, and deliverables; specifically, for the timely completion of project activities within their business process area
  • Lead business process design and accompanying solution design with an IT partner, for assigned area to help streamline & optimize best practices.
  • Creates network of Leaders & SME's across the Empower organization (business units, shared services and centers of excellence organizations) to leverage for input, participation in project activities.
  • Facilitate rapid decisions and the completion of the Solution Designs and Annual planning roadmaps, budget needs, resource needs.
  • Present clear & succinct presentations for senior leadership and board of directors meetings.
  • Lead and oversee process & design workshops
  • Ensure solution meets business requirements, including close collaboration with key business leaders to ensure adoption of new functionality to underpin true business transformation
  • Where appropriate, partner with the change management team to craft a strategy for end user change management, including delivering to users and measuring success

What you will bring:

  • BS, BA in Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 10-15 years of experience in strategic planning / management area
  • 5+ years process improvement / design experience.  Certifications desired
  • Knowledge and experience with Organizational Change Management.
  • Deep and broad experience across all sub-processes within the process area, to consider upstream and downstream impacts and implications.
  • Prior experience leading large-scale transformational projects or programs covering Infrastructure, Platforms, business
  • Analytic, strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive.  
  • Leader that collaborates effectively across all organizations, has strong influence skills and can build consensus and drive change.
  • Able to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Strong Microsoft Office skillsets.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Aligned with program goals and principles.

Base Salary Range

$120,600.00 - $174,825.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
