Carelon's Digital Product Platform team is looking to hire a Principal Architect Executive to develop and lead its overall Product Platform strategy and roadmap.
This high-performing individual contributor will lead the effort to identify shared platform attributes across the product range and coordinate product/functional teams. This leader will drive innovation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement to evolve platforms in line with market and technological changes. Critical decision-making capabilities are needed for deciding platform features and prioritizing initiatives. Elevance Health and Carelon-specific business unit knowledge and product knowledge along with current platform knowledge and experience is critical for this role.
How you will make an impact:
Recommends new platform strategies and solutions that build the processes on how services are delivered to members, providers and key stakeholders-view on all aspects of data and process flows; this could be automated or manual.
Develops an integrated view and make recommendations for all product platforms, processes, data flows, connection points to establish the foundation.
Partners with company leadership to design processes that will shape and build the foundation.
Leads initiatives and owns governance to establish new processes and changes to existing processes.
Establishes overall product platform architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision.
Works on all aspects of the business model to convey needs to IT and key business stakeholders.
Understanding of data, data requirements, data constraints, business process and workflows, automation, and service delivery and benefit structure to align end to end processes.
Help deliver and drive migration based upon roadmaps defined by enterprise data roadmaps.
Works with Business, Product and IT to lead Business Transformation strategy and vision.
Provides continuous consulting services and direction on projects.
- Champions and responsible for platform architectural standards, guidelines, principles, frameworks, and reference models.
Works with IT to define architectures for new strategic initiatives.
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture/design, business processes, strategic design or relevant disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred:
-Healthcare Technology, healthcare products, and platform thinking
-Experience with Healthcare Services products and their associated product platforms (i.e. Utilization Management, Behavioral Health, Advocacy, Care Management, Digital Front Doors/Mobile Apps, Provider Communications)
-Experience working with a variety of CIOs and their teams in a matrixed environment to deliver value and drive change. Cross-functional experience (e.g., strategy, change management, business process management)
-Platform design experience connecting CX/UX, product operations, technology, and leveraging data (analytics/AI)
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $162,800 to $293,040
