Senior Software Engineer - Mobile at Elemy

As we look to scale our business, we are growing our engineering team to help us build the tools needed to provide better care for our families.  We are looking to build out our Mobile Engineering team to lead the design and execution of mobile applications for our families and providers.  You'll be an early contributing member of the mobile application team and will help us establish a strong foundation for our mobile development. At Elemy we are looking to hire engineers who want to make a societal impact, build unique experiences, and care about how our products work, how they look, how they feel, and how they function.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Play a key role in shipping and iterating on our first set of mobile applications at Elemy
• Owning the delivery of new user facing features/systems end to end from conception to implementation to launch and impact monitoring
• Work with a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers and DevOps Engineers to own an entire application from development to production
• Lead and mentor junior or web engineers in delivering high quality mobile applications
• Design, code and maintain tablet and mobile user experiences end-to-end
• Optimize code for performance, stability and maintainability

Who You Are

• Proven track record of delivering & leading Mobile (iOS & Android) applications & features
• Ideally proficient in React/React Native/Typescript
• Experience working with designers and product managers to shape the requirements and UX of the application
• Thorough understanding of core design principles and common design patterns
• Experience with UI Unit Testing
• Experience creating, maintaining and shipping enterprise level applications
• Experience using common design patterns with high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance
