Job Description: Develop, implement, and test algorithms to detect cardiovascular conditions and improve patient care. Work with our clinical partners (both internal and external) to understand clinical research needs and applications. Develop algorithms based on company’s proprietary audio and EKG sensors as well as data from our clinical partners. Build state of the art machine
learning models which leverage deep neural networks, biomedical signal processing algorithms, etc. Work collaboratively with other data scientists as well as product, clinical and software teams at Eko. Option to Telecommute.
Job Requirements: PhD degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or Bioengineering or a related field plus 3 years as a Data Scientist or any job title/occupation/position involving Data Sciences. Alternatively, Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or Bioengineering or a related field plus 6 years as a Data Scientist or any job title/occupation/position involving Data Sciences. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1) Working with medical devices or biomedical data analysis; 2) Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP; 3) Timeseries data such as EKG signals; 4) Statistical performance of algorithms; 5) Signal processing concepts;6) Programming skills such as MatLab, Python; 7) Operations involved in modern deep learning models and training methodologies.
