What you’ll be doing 

•  As a valued team member, you will contribute to the transformation of our IT environment into a cutting-edge, container-based AWS Cloud infrastructure
•  This includes, orchestrating with Puppet, Ansible, Terraform and Foreman
• You take care that our own software runs reliably and with high availability. For this, you use load balancers and HA mechanisms
• You work closely with our development teams. Together you ensure that our microservices can access databases (MySQL, DB2), Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ and Co. smoothly and quickly
• You support our software development with build infrastructure and test environment (CI/CD)
• You ensure in new projects that our IT-security policies are implemented and improve the IT-security in our existing solutions
• To prevent failures from occurring in the first place, you consistently develop our monitoring system. For this you use tools like Icinga2, Grafana and Graylog

What you bring to the table 

• Embrace teamwork and contribute to our positive team spirit
• Ability to work independently, coordinating tasks and responsibilities effectively
• 3 years of experience in the IT field
• Proficiency in configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt, Terraform) and Linux server operations
• Familiarity with build management, CI/CD tools, and processes
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., bash, Python)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS (ECS, ELB)
• Experience with Load Balancers/WAF operations
