The successful candidate will join a team of developers working on Open Source cross-platform management tools and related technologies for PostgreSQL and EDB Postgres Advanced Server as a Senior Software Engineer. They will visualize and develop designs for tools based on feedback from users and discussions with other team members and then implement them using Python, Flask,  React, NodeJS, and other related frameworks and libraries.

As candidates would be working to tight deadlines, they will need to be able to think and code quickly and cleanly, collaborating with the team to refine designs and resolve issues as they occur.

Desired Profile

We are looking for professionals having a minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer using Python & React.

What you will bring:

  • 4+ years experience working with Python.
  • 4 years experience experience developing interactive websites or web applications using React or a similar framework.
  • Experience with a popular Python web framework such as Flask or Django
  • Experience working directly with enterprise-class relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Experience developing automated tests to ensure code quality.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong team player with aptitude for learning new subjects and mastering them.

What will give you an edge:

  • Development experience with database stored procedures/functions.
  • Experience the optimizing performance of database applications.
  • Experience / exposure to Docker/Kubernetes
