Description:

eBay’s Software-Defined Security Platform enables adaptive micro-segmentation of applications using a declarative policy model. The platform provides a robust policy language, scalable policy store and role-based access control for the governance of network policies. It also provides a dynamic and declarative enforcement mechanism that adapts to the changes and maintains the security posture.

Role:

• Create design blueprints and brainstorm with the team on ideas to make the product more scalable and better for customers
• Implement new features including unit test and end to end tests and roll out to production
• Identify bottlenecks and enhance existing components of the product
• Support customers by addressing their issues and guide them in using the product 
• Collaborate with partner teams like Global Information System, Site Network Security, Site Engineering and Problem management for various project activities
• Mentor junior team members 

Qualification:

Must have:

• Masters or Phd in computer science or related fields
• 3 or more years of experience working as a software development engineer
• Proficiency in a structured programming language such as C, C++, Java or Go
• Sound knowledge in cloud or infrastructure domain 
• Knowledge of Linux based operating systems
• Experience working with different types of databases like mysql, etcd or neo4j
