Junior SW Integration & Test Engineer

What is the role:

• As a Junior SW Integration & Test Engineer, your primary responsibility your primary responsibility will be to integrate and test communication systems, including User Equipment (UE), gNodeB, 5G Core, and NMS products. Leveraging your extensive 3+ years of expertise in testing Wireless Communications and Networking products, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems.
• This position is based in our Dallas, TX office.

What you will do:

• Create detailed test cases covering features, functions, performance, scalability, stability, and security, etc.
• Execute both automated and manual test cases, documenting results and recommending corrective actions.
• Build, configure and maintain test infrastructure.
• Reproduce customer-reported issues and validate fixes.

What you will bring to the role:

• 3+ years of experience in testing Wireless communications and networking products (a must).
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of signaling flow in 4G/5G Mobile communications network – Access Stratum OR Non-Access Stratum.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP network fundamentals (L2 and L3 protocols).
• Familiarity with KVM (or equivalent), Kubernetes, and AWS (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of RF signal measurement and modulation concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with any simulator tools (UE, gNodeB and Core Network) from Keysight or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in test case execution and documenting results.
• Experience in setting up, configuring, and operating test harnesses.
• Experience with various tools and applications: Test Management Systems (Zephyr, Test Rail), Confluence, Jira, version control (GIT), and continuous integration (Jenkins).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Past experience with telecom OEM vendor is a plus.
