Job Description:

As the Vice President, Project Management you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the strategic and tactical functions of the Project Management Organization, as it pertains to both internal facing and external facing projects. This role will work across the Office of Remediation organization to gain a full understanding of projects deliverables (both internally and externally) and establish an efficient workflow that will allow the organization to meet its deliverables on time and on budget. Creates a culture of effective risk management, accountability, and demonstration of risk awareness across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development of industrial strength project management capabilities to ensure the business delivers on complex compliance, risk, and regulatory projects including developing processes to assess workflow, status, dependencies, prioritization, measure progress, define reporting, and resolution of blockers.

  • Interface directly with senior and executive management and external stakeholders across the firm to discuss issues and questions relating to the timely and quality completion of actions and project and influence outcomes to ensure commitments are followed through during design and deployment.

  • Implement and lead project documentation, reporting operating model, frameworks, project management tools / technology, change control and governance for clients consistent with Office of Remediation standards. Develop new and refine existing project management methodologies and protocols as needed and in alignment with wider Program Management Office.

  • Identify and solve emerging problems; know when to escalate issues to move concerns forward and, when faced with ambiguity, step into the void to find solutions. Apprise senior and executive management of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.

  • Lead a team of seasoned project managers and inspire high quality delivery in a fast-paced environment. While leading also perform as an individual contributor who is able to jump in and add value. Work seamlessly with the Office of Remediation team to ensure regulatory objectives are met.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration and Management, Continuous Improvement, Project

Management

  • 12+ years of Financial Services industry experience in the areas of Project Management, financial analysis, banking policies and regulations, compliance remediation, consumer compliance and risk management or related. Deep project management expertise and proven track record at successful implementation of complex projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Business Administration and Management

  • PMP Certification

In Lieu of Education:

  • 15+ years of Financial Services industry experience in the areas of Project Management, financial analysis, banking policies and regulations, compliance remediation, consumer compliance and risk management or related. Deep project management expertise and proven track record at successful implementation of complex projects
