What you'll be doing
- Work across iOS, Android, and web to guarantee a reliable and performant experience for all our users.
- Lead in adopting the latest frameworks and architectural patterns that will enhance the end user experience.
- Build internal tools to empower all of engineering to create performant features
- Address performance issues either in a foundational manner or by collaborating with product area experts.
- Architect elegant and maintainable code with a focus on autonomy and support from the team.
- Work with empathetic and smart engineers who believe in creating a place of belonging for everyone.
What you should have
- 5+ years experience working on large, cross-platform software projects.
- Experience with iOS development (React Native or Objective-C/Swift)
- Familiarity with Web development (React, TypeScript) .
- Knowledge of performance metrics such as CPU and memory usage.
- You enjoy coming up with pragmatic solutions to concrete problems using first principles thinking.
- Maintain a high degree of empathy for your internal and external users and seek feedback from them about your work..
- You have strong communication skills and thrive in small, collaborative, energetic teams.
Bonus Points
- Have experience leading or being part of a large scale migration.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is ($190,000) to (204,000) + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
