Meet the team:

As a member of the software R&D team, the Sr. Manager, V&V Strategy & Architecture will be a strategic contributor to the full life cycle of software products in a fast-growing organization. This senior level role will work cross-functionally among software test development, systems engineering, software development teams, and leadership to ensure Dexcom software is of the highest quality and that our software test processes can scale to meet our growing customer audience.

Where you come in:

• You’ll define, drive, and scale advanced automation strategies and architecture across all project workstreams, for multiple mobile applications and for cloud platform services. 

• You’ll translate requirements into software test activities and guide multiple automated test development efforts.

• You’ll identify and unblock technical challenges to automated testing and guide/mentor junior engineers by defining high quality, reproducible patterns.

• You’ll create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and speak as an expert in test development across teams.

• You’ll own a roadmap for V&V activity, and coordinate resources and schedules for scaled software test automation.

What makes you successful:

• You have a proven history of technical leadership and test automation development at a high level including complex test framework architecture, test plan/case design, and tool development.

• You have strong communication and influencing skills.  You employ written and verbal communication with engineers and management up, down, and across the organization. 

• You have demonstrated technical project management skills, and process design experience on multi-year projects with multi-functional teams.

• You have very strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• You are proficient in at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, etc.

• You can deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and bring a willingness to try new/challenging things.

• 5-15%

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of industry experience

• Requires a degree in a technical discipline

• 5-8 years of previous people management experience

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.

Salary:

$156,400.00 - $260,600.00
