Job Description

A bit about this role: 

This role is key in our organization. You will be responsible for network development, management, service and performance for Devoted's markets in Georgia. The role is responsible for developing and leading a local Network Development team and reports to the Vice President of Network Development for Georgia and the Carolinas.

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years experience in recruiting and managing provider networks along with negotiating, reviewing and amending contracts. This experience will include thorough knowledge of contracting with hospitals, physicians, physician groups, ancillary providers using various payment methodologies, as well as a working knowledge of the Georgia landscape. Ideally, the candidate will possess a very high level of business acumen and be able to exhibit it both internally and externally to a wide variety of audiences. Innovation, independence and confidence are key competencies that need to be exhibited. 
 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Development, maintenance and management of provider network in Georgia

• Maintaining relationships and all provider relations activities in Georgia

• Negotiating and renegotiating contracts with all provider types as assigned

• Leading the provider performance function, including Joint Operating Committee meetings, to ensure optimal financial and clinical performance

• Monitoring of various reports to insure all necessary compliance requirements are met and maintained

• Reporting to leadership current status, risks, and potential opportunities in assigned area on a regular basis

• Support of overall Network Team as required to achieve success of Devoted Health

• Understanding impacts of decisions on network as a whole

• Working knowledge of the Georgia provider landscape and key points of contact

• Extremely effective oral/written communication skills

• Comfortable using multiple office system platforms
   

Desired skills and experience: 

• Demonstrated success in managing Network Development teams

• Experience in CMS STAR measures

• 10+ years negotiating provider contracts including physician, ancillary and hospital

• Extensive provider servicing experience, including clinical and financial performance

• Ability to work in a startup, fast paced environment

• Solid ability to navigate either Google or MS Suite of products. 

Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
