What you’ll achieve

Our dynamic Software Engineering development team is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge software application enhancements and innovative products to meet the evolving needs of today's world. With a focus on utilizing the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies, we collaborate both internally and externally to design and develop software across various platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics.

ISG Product Development Team is seeking an additional resource to join our team, specifically to contribute to the development of our applications eLAB and Topic.  Proficiency in Java and Oracle is essential for this role, with experience in Spring Boot being highly advantageous. Our applications eLAB and Topic play crucial roles in profiling software and hardware interoperability and compatibility, addressing the demands of high-profile engineering projects.

You will:

• Implementing systems and components on large-scale platforms
• Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, ReST) and experience with XML XSLT
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles

Essential Requirements

• Overall 8+ years of experience, with 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience developing in Java and Oracle
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and managing Tomcat Application Server.
• Competence in installing, configuring, and managing Apache HTTPD Web Server.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on LINUX/UNIX OS; Demonstrated ability to administer JVM-based applications and a deep understanding of Java-based applications.

Desirable Requirements

• Solid understanding of Java/J2EE technologies such as MDB, JMS, JDBC along with the Spring Framework
• Familiarity with Gitlab, Jira, and DevOps practices is beneficial.
• Exposure to other databases (e.g., Mongo, MySQL) is a plus.
