In order to bring data as close as possible to the end user, we have launched a new product initiative whose goal is to deliver an AI asset (data/graph/ML model) to business users directly in their day to day tool This is a great opportunity to start on a fresh project, with everything to build on a trendy tech stack (Flask + VueJS + Browser extension).

As an intern in this initiative, you will learn what it is to start a new Saas service from scratch in a small team! You will also get to master how the web works and use the limitless possibilities of a browser extension.

We are looking for an intern who will stay with us for 4 to 6 months and will help develop our platform. Here are a few examples of our next challenges on which we would need you to contribute:

• Develop new integrations to handle charts (eCharts, Tableau…)
• Build a secured auth engine (OAuth)
• Build iterations of the user interface and improve the overall user experience

You will:

  • Be onboarded on Dataiku environment and development practices
  • Get familiar with Dataiku DSS, our core product, and its capabilities for data-science. 
  • Discover the code base and get use to the languages: Flask (Python) and VueJS (JavaScript)
  • Improve your abilities to use APIs and learn how the web really works
  • Work on a browser agnostic extension
  • Implement new features from design to tests
  • Understand production environment maintenance by learning DevOps
  • Participate in client meetings and give your feedback on their expectations
  • Celebrate for every wins and new customers, and enjoy being part of this growing new project

Although we are mainly seeking curious and autonomous candidates, you will be a great fit if:

  • You are eager to learn new things and work proactively and collaboratively within a small team
  • You have good working knowledge of one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java…)
  • You enjoy have an eye for implementing beautiful web interfaces
  • You have a basic knowledge on how the web works (API, HTTP protocol, Frontend/Backend…)
  • You speak English (we are an international team)
  • Bonus point if you are familiar with Data Science
