Software Engineer in Test Intern

In order to test Dataiku products, the Quality Assurance team (QA) has developed a test framework interacting with them using a REST API. This framework is used by both developers and the QA team to build new integration test suites. 

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer in Test Intern. The goal of this internship is to create tooling in order to help the QA team to onboard people on this framework (automatic documentation / interactive code samples … )

In this internship you will:

• Get familiar with Dataiku DSS, the test suite and the test framework concepts
• Study Github Actions / Jenkins, Docker, Python and Pytest, Sphinx …
• Develop the CI pipeline and discuss the relevant code samples to provide
• Celebrate and party because you’ve simplified the life of many developers and decreased the onboarding time

You will have the opportunity to learn:

• Automatic tools to improve the quality of a computer science project
• How to summarize by examples a big code base 
• Additional skills behind the code (discuss specifications / write accurate documentation / create presentations)

• You already have some development skills (ideally in Python)
• You are curious on how things are working together and challenge the complex parts
• You use your social skills to build relationships with people
• You are able to present your contributions to others (QA / dev)

The internship will take place in our nice and cozy office located in the heart of Paris.
