Manager II, Engineering - Data Engineering Infrastructure

Our Data Engineering Infrastructure team provides a platform to Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Data Scientists across Datadog in order for them to be able to build, run and operate their data pipelines. The team is part of the larger Data & Analytics organization and currently consists of three teams that focus on providing a Spark and Flink platform across multiple cloud providers, the experience of the platform and data management and governance. As a Senior Manager, you’ll support engineering managers, work closely with the Senior Director of Data & Analytics as well as many stakeholders across Datadog.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect a cutting-edge data platform: Spearhead the migration to our next generation data platform and design a unified data lake.
• Empower innovation: Champion the strategic evolution of our platform, enabling data scientists and data analysts to push the boundaries of analysis and data engineers to build pipelines that impact our business.
• Lead and inspire: Guide and mentor engineering managers, nurturing their talents and building a world-class leadership team.

• You have led teams through others and are able to help other managers in the organization grow.
