About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for a DevOps Engineer for the Technical Marketing team to help build our product gamification and experience platform. You will be expected to learn and understand CrowdStrike Falcon and the various products and services CrowdStrike has to offer. You will work with the best in the business, and we need your skills to scale the gamification platform and design unique experiences for internal and external audiences.

As a Technical Marketing Manager (DevOps) for product gamification, you will engage cross-functionally with our internal teams to help design, plan, code, and develop activities that enable the field to demonstrate and expose the Falcon Platform to broader audiences. The activities developed for gamification are used during industry conferences, internal & partner training, and the sales cycle.

This role requires technical expertise in either front-end or back-end web development with microservices. An ideal candidate has expertise with CI/CD pipelines. As this is not an entry-level position, you will be asked to  provide examples of your past projects as part of the interview process. The TME should be accustomed to and very comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.

          

What You’ll Do:

  • Scale the gamification platform through CI/CD and develop gamification activities for the Falcon Platform

  • Collaborate within TMM to develop web frontend and backend for gamification platform

  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify technical requirements and potential problems, issues, and solutions.

  • Develop code (Javascript, Powershell, Python etc) to interact with REST APIs and API driven security technologies to automate security tasks.

  • Create secure, well-tested, and high-quality code.

  • Design, develop, and distribute content and resources such as presentations, demonstrations, demos, reference materials, and other marketing documentation

  • Collaborate with other marketing, engineering, product, and leadership resources to build highly scalable and compelling content and demos

  • Serve as a technical resource for the Marketing team

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience: 5+ years or equivalent experience in consulting, support, sales engineering, technical training, or technical marketing, software engineering, cloud automation

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently while also managing expectations of customers and Senior Management

  • Enterprise security domain experience across a few of these technologies is a must - Endpoint Security, SIEM, Web Security, Cloud Security, Data protection, Vulnerability Management, Firewall and more. 

  • Front End development experience (html/css/javascript) and/or backend web development (terraform, microservice architecture, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, node.js)

  • Strong coding experience in database administration (such as SQL or Postgres).

  • Systems Administration: an understanding of system internals is required to understand how to implement and execute countermeasures and remediation.

  • Programming/Scripting: Experience coding in JavaScript, Bash, Powershell, Python, Go, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and.NET

  • Experience with automation and configuration management (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)

  • Technical background with ability to get hands-on with the product

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in technology demonstration techniques (i.e. live demo, presentations, screencasts, webinars, etc.)

  • Research and architect solutions to enable the hands-on education of security operations requirements.

  • Develop and maintain processes and documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify technical requirements and potential problems, issues, and solutions.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $90,000 - $150,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
