We are hiring an iOS Engineer to join our team in supporting various iOS applications for both internal and external users. You will have a direct impact on highly visible CoStar mobile applications that touch thousands of users. You will continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply these learnings to improve our mobile products.

This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers 2 days remote per week.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing applications that scale and reach 30,000+ users per day
• Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.
• Develop mobile applications for iOS devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
• 3+ years of experience developing iOS applications.
• Proficient with the following technologies; Swift, Objective C , iOS SDK, Cocoa Framework, XCode IDE, Interface Builder, Git (for source control), Autolayout (using interface builder and APIs)
• Expert in writing Unit Tests and/or Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming and design patterns, MVC, and MVVM
• Track record of commitment to prior employers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with various iOS frameworks including UIKit, SwiftUI, MapKit, PhotoKit, CoreData, etc.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and logical thinking as well as problem solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge/experience with Android, Unit Tests and Test Driven Development
