DUTIES:                               Provide technical leadership in designing and developing new software and web applications using ITIL Framework; troubleshoot application issues at a L2 level; design information management systems; administer and architect databases, operating systems, infrastructure, and network designs; administer applications within AWS; develop software using SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, NoSQL databases, Single-Sign On, and Multifactor Authentication; using Jira and ServiceNow; ensure programs are envisioned, designed, developed and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs; interface with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs; ensure solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable and delivered on schedule; develop, document, and ensure compliance with best practices including but not limited to coding standards, object-oriented design, platform and framework specific design concerns and human interface guidelines; monitor emerging technologies/technology practices for potential use within the Company; design and develop updated infrastructure in support of one or more business processes; mentor, review code and verify that object-oriented design best practices and coding and architectural guidelines are adhered to; contribute to the overall system implementation strategy for the enterprise; gather and understand client needs to find key areas where technology leverage is possible to improve business processes; define architectural approaches, develop technology proofs, and communicate technology direction; monitor the project lifecycle from intake through delivery; ensure the entire solution design is complete and consistent; and guide and mentor junior members of the team.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience developing software using ITIL Framework; troubleshooting application issues at a L2 level; designing information management systems; of which two (2) years include administering and architecting databases, operating systems, infrastructure, and network designs; administering applications within AWS; developing software using SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL; using Jira and ServiceNow; and of which one (1) year includes developing software using NoSQL databases, Single-Sign On, and Multifactor Authentication
